For this piece I experimented a little bit with the ways to make the viola strings make sound on their own, trying to uncover sonic artefacts by connecting external vibrating threads to each string. The effect is very subtle, yet it populates each string with an unpredictable living patterned creature, which slowly crawls through its perimeter, while the performer plays (or rather tries to play around the obstacles) several overlapping layers of materials.
